PURPOSE AND MAIN TASKSThe mortar is designed for destruction of the fighters arranged uncovered and in shelters, fire power, light armored targets within the closest tactical zone.

2B11 mortar uses fragmentation high-explosive mines of all 120 mm mortar system modifications for firing. To perform individual tactical and firing tasks, smoke, illumination and incendiary mine are used.
2B11 mortar is loaded/unloaded from the transportation vehicle with the electrical winch.
To move the mortar to short distance (up to 30 km), the mortar is towed with the wheeled gear. |
