 The MBS includes

The bridge structure includes the launch beam consisting of the end and middle sections, end and middle bridge members, launch beam support, adjustable supports, ramps. The bridge member includes two triangle in transverse section sections and inter-track connecting plate. If the operating roadway is 4 m, the bridge member has 3.3 m transport dimension.
The MBS structure allows for assembly of support-free 16-, 22-, 28-, 34- and 41 m long bridge structures. The bridge is installed at the obstacle with prepared home and opposite banks (the obstruction width is 1.0-1.5 m less the bridge length) or at the obstacle with prepared home bank (the obstacle width is between 14.5 to 39 meters).
The bridge structure is installed via launching the bridge members along the launch beam. The bridge crossing is assembled by the bridge assembly vehicle and carrier crew. |
