PURPOSE AND MAIN TASKS

It is designed for detection, recognition, classification, measuring the electronic equipment angle coordinates, path tracking the air-borne and water-borne targets with regard to EE emissions (passive target radar location) and proven and tracked EE data transmission to the higher automated command post.

It may be used as part of early warning and announcement system, electronic environment monitoring and jamming source detection systems, air traffic control system.

It is capable to ensure intelligence of the following air-borne EE classes with the main and side beam patterns:

side-scan RS;
reconnaissance and attack system and reconnaissance and firing system RS;
weapon control RS;
low-altitude flight support RS;
multi-purpose RS operated under ground surface scanning, weapon control and low-altitude flight support conditions;
Avaks, Khokai long-range radar detection RS and control and jammers;
air-borne target radio-altimeters;
identification (IFF) systems and TAKAN navigation systems.
