Purpose and Main Tasks

MiG-29M multi-task front-line fighter is designed for day-and-night destruction of air-borne targets under adverse and favorable weather conditions, attacking the mobile and fixed ground (surface) targets.

MiG-29M may efficiently perform tasks related to patrolling air-borne target interception, escorting the attackers and air-lifters, hitting the ground (surface) targets, ground and air-borne assault support, battlefield air interdiction and air reconnaissance.

Equipment

MiG-29M is equipped with the up-to-date navigation target acquisition system, four-time redundant digital aircraft control system, radar and optical systems, helmet targeting and indication system, communication and defense aids, cockpit displays and controls and other aids ensuring high flight safety, efficient armament usage and performance of navigation tasks.
